08: That Did Not Just Happen

“Today, we will be focusing on social psychology and how individuals relate to one another in social situations including social attitudes, social influence, and other group behavior,” Professor Singleton stood in front of his class, lecturing to a full room. Abigail sat, impatiently tapping her pen on top of her notebook as she waited for the hour to end. Lately, she found that her time in class paled in comparison to being with Zach; a fact that Jemma was all too thrilled to point out.

However, the last week had been spent waiting on Zach outside of practice, rushing across campus at the end of her class hours to catch him before he exited his classes or daydreaming about hanging out with him in his dorm instead of listening to her professors. Today was no different. She felt warm between her legs as she let her mind wander to last night.

Abigail giggled as Zach’s hands tickled over her belly again. She rolled him, playfully pinning him beneath her but was still unable to keep his fingers away from her sensitive zones. She laughed louder and louder, squirming vigorously in his lap. The motion caused another, unexpected result and she used it to her advantage.

Rocking her hips against his straining erection, Zach groaned and momentarily forgot what he was doing. Instead, his hands moved up to her hips, stilling her movements and shifting her to the side. Before he could continue tickling her again, Abigail slid her hand down his belly and slowly stroked his cock through his jeans, once again distracting him.

He made a noise in his throat and tightened his grip on her hips almost painfully as she circled his shaft with her fingers and squeezed. “You’re cheating,” he moaned breathlessly, pushing his hips up to meet her hand.

“Not uh! I’m just being a forward thinker,” Abigail smiled and felt Zach’s hands ease up the front of her shirt. He grasped her nipples firmly and she leaned over on top of him.

“You like that?”

“Yes,” she panted as he lifted her shirt enough to expose her breasts and his lips closed around her nipple. “You like what I’m doing to you?” she asked in return, her fingers caressing him teasingly.

“Oh yeah, Abigail. That feels so damn good. Mmm, you want that inside you,” he groaned, again pushing himself upward into the warmth of her crotch and eliciting another moan from her as he lightly nibbled on her chest.

“I do; so very much.” As her playful tongue traced circles around his earlobe, he let out a soft cry. Abby’s hand slipped under the waistband of his jeans and she took a solid grip of his cock and slid it quicker between her fingers. Within seconds, his body tensed and with a grunt, he shuddered beneath her.

Abigail squealed when she realized what was happening. The throbbing from his jeans and the sudden warmth that touched her hands left little room for speculation. Zach’s eyes grew wide in shock as he pulled back and looked up at her. That did not just happen! he thought. “Fuck!” he cussed, his face burning bright red. “Fuck, fuck, fuck. Abigail I…I’m so sorry. I’m so, so sorry. That’s never happened to me before!”

“It’s ok, Zach, we can try again in a little while,” she smiled and retrieved her hand from inside his pants. “I guess this means you were right after all, I could make a decent porn star,” she giggled to try and ease his embarrassment a little. She fell down against him, sweetly kissing his lips and he settled her beside his chest and laughed.

“Yeah, Abigail, you’re one hell of a woman.”

Unfortunately they never made it to round two as Knox decided to come home just as things were heating up. Abigail was starting on daydream #3 when she noticed a flash near the front exit. She stared towards the hall, waiting for the flicker of brown hair to reappear. Sure enough, Zach’s head popped up by the door again and he made a goofy face until a smile cracked on her lips. She giggled, loudly, and the rest of the class turned their gazes towards her.

“Ms. Carmichael, I don’t suppose you’d like to share what’s so funny back there with the rest of the class, would you?” Professor Singleton asked in frustration. She shook her head no and lowered her eyes to the book in front of her. “Then, if it would be ok with you, may I please return to teaching this class?” he sighed as he went back to his lesson plan.

Zach popped up but this time, instead of making a funny face, he apologized for getting her in trouble. The bell sounded in the courtyard and the students dispersed out through the various exits. Abigail met Zach in the hall and laughed when his fingers immediately zoned in on her extra ticklish sides. “You’re a real class clown you know that?”

“Well I only do it because I love hearing you laugh. There’s no crime in that.”

“Oh no? You should check out the grade on today’s pop quiz. I was so distracted by you, or rather our plans tonight that I could barely think about the last assignment to stumble through the exam!”

“You’re daydreaming about me? And you’re saying this is a bad thing?” Zach’s eyebrows wiggled before he slowly leaned in, claiming Abigail’s mouth with his own. His tongue pushed into her mouth, hungrily exploring, and she began to feel a tingle between her legs. Cautiously, Abigail kissed him back; her tongue tracing along his. He moaned and pulled her closer, securing his hand around her waist.

The act startled her. Briefly her eyes popped open but slowly closed seeing Zach standing in front of her. The scent of his spicy cologne eased through her nostrils as she inhaled deeply and she turned her head to extend the kiss. Suddenly aware of eyes on them, Abigail broke away, promptly dropping her eyes to her feet to hide the tinge of red that crawled across her face.

Bursts of giggles erupted behind her and she instantly felt self-conscious about the glares she received from a few girls in the hall. It was like she was in junior high all over again being teased about her horn-rimmed glasses or the braces she’d long since abandoned. Zach gently lifted Abby’s chin, coaxing her to look at him and ignore the others standing around them.

With a smile, he became the only person in the hallway. Collecting the bag from her shoulder, Zach took Abigail’s hand in his and started for the quad. “So, instead of another interrupted night in my room or yours, I figured we could expand our horizons a bit. I sorta bribed Chance, you know the custodian, to leave the doors to the Liberal Arts center unlocked. And thanks to a little investigation and your friend Jemma, I believe I have the right dinner, wine, flowers, candles, the whole nine!”

“Wait a minute, I thought you said flowers and candlelight was easy; you’re more of a forward thinker.”

“Yeah but you’re a girl and girls like that sort of thing. Besides, I wanted to make tonight special. I have a surprise for you,” he smirked and stopped in front of the pathway leading to her dorm. “Tonight I’m gonna show you just how amazing I think you are.”

Abigail blushed and the smile on Zach’s face widened and he found himself suddenly nervous and lightly laughed to ease his anxiety. He leaned towards her and quickly pecked her cheek, feeling the heat of her skin against his lips. “Alright, enough with all this mushy stuff; I have a reputation to protect.”

“Oh right, the West Tech Terror. We wouldn’t want your opponents thinking that’s all hype!”

“Exactly! See, you get me!” he laughed again and handed back her bag. “I gotta run, Coach will get on me if I’m late for practice again. But tonight, 7:00. Don’t be late!”

“I wouldn’t miss it for the world!”

“What the hell are you doing in here?” Knox asked, tossing his duffel bag to the floor and shutting the door. “Didn’t you see the sign? No dogs allowed in the dorms, that includes bitches like you.”

“Wow, Knox. I almost forgot how funny you are!” Sasha sneered, brushing lint off her thighs before leaning back on his sofa. “Keep talking, someday you might say something intelligent!”

“Cute. What do you want, She-devil!” Knox asked defensively, snatching a beer from the mini-fridge.

“I’m looking for Zach. Have you seen him?”

“Maybe. I’m sure he ran when he saw you. Your voice is worse than ice water on nuts,” he laughed at her up turned nose and threw himself to his bed.

By now Sasha was standing with her hands on her hips and a glower on her face. Knox was amused by her paltry show of nerve, he never did like her. On several occasions he’d tried convincing Zach that Sasha was no good for him but he refused to listen. “Are you always this stupid or is today a special occasion?”

“I don’t know; ask me again tomorrow.”

“I need Zach, Knox! Tell me where he is!” she begged in a shrilly, high-pitched whine.

“You are like seriously mistaking me for someone who gives a shit, Sasha.” She smiled at him and he smiled in return but her mouth turned into a wicked smirk and, using two fingers, she pushed his high-definition radio from his desk.

It smashed to the floor in a few tiny pieces and he immediately jumped up and ran towards it. “What the fuck? Are you on the rag or something?” he yelled and knelt down to inspect the damage. “Damn. You’re a special breed of bitch, you know that? Zach really dodged a bullet by not proposing to you.”

“He what? Zach was planning to propose?”

“Yeah. That was before he found you three dudes deep with a cock in each hole. I’m pretty sure he sold the ring back for way less than he’d bought it. He was just happy to get rid of the damn thing.”

The scowl on Sasha’s face deepened and she stomped her foot and stormed towards him. “I swear to god, Knox, I’m going to strangle you if you don’t tell me where the fuck he went!” Her bony finger stabbed into his chest as she spoke and Knox struggled to keep from smacking her, laughing off her attempt to intimidate him.

“Talk is cheap, Sasha, but then again, so are you. Besides, you’re only dangerous if I sleep with you. And since I don’t plan on getting a series of 40 shots in the next day or two, I think I’ll pass.” He quickly moved back towards the door and opened it for her, “Now if you would, make like a tree, I got better shit to do.”

“Fine! But this isn’t over,” she threatened, stepping into the hall and Knox gladly slammed the door behind her.

Sasha retrieved her cell phone from her purse and pulled up “Find-A-Friend”, an app to help quickly locate a party, pinpoint a specific buddy, or find an anonymous hook up, and pinged Zach’s location. It showed him in the Literature department and she smiled to herself as she hurried over.

Noticing Abigail approaching from the parking lot, Sasha pushed up her breasts and switched her Harry Winston graduation present to the other hand before she started towards her. “Well now, if it isn’t the whore of Bell Haven.”

Abigail’s mouth dropped in shock at the mention of her hometown and a sneer crossed Sasha’s lips seeing the girl completely thrown. “What did you just call me?”

“I think you heard me. Or did the guys you fuck in junior high call you something else? Darling? Sugar Plum, perhaps? Oh no, I know what it was, step-daughter, since you liked to keep it in the family! And I always thought inbreeding was a joke but I guess it’s true in your case!”

“You don’t know what you’re talking about!”

“Oh no? What were you? 10? 11? Geez, that’s a little young for an orgy don’t you think? Refresh my memory was it three men or four?” she shrugged indifferently and flipped her blonde hair over her shoulder. “Doesn’t matter. I just wanted to tell you that Zach’s grown tired of slumming and is now back where he belongs.”

“No,” Abigail whispered, shaking her head slowly as the girl showed off an engagement ring. Tears brimmed at the bottom of Abigail’s eyes as she listened to Sasha make light of her ordeal.

“Surprise! Believe me, Honey, you’re nowhere near as shocked as I was when he proposed. But I can’t say I wasn’t expecting it. He once told me I was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with; guess he meant it,” she grinned and fixed her lipstick as more tears fell from Abby’s eyes. “Oh no! You’re crying? Wait a second, did you really think you meant something to him? Well gosh, Abigail, for someone so book smart, you’re pretty stupid when it comes to life,” she laughed cruelly as Abigail’s eyes darted between her and the door leading to the Liberal Arts building.

“I don’t believe you. Zach wouldn’t…”

“He wouldn’t what? Tell everyone about your childhood trauma? No, of course not. How else would I have known? Face it, Honey, you’re nothing, you’re less than nothing. And after your cozy little dates ended, Zach would call me up and we’d have a great, big, old laugh about how weak and pitiful you are! Get a clue. You were just fresh meat; a new hole to fill and bad at it from what I understand. I believe the word my Zachy used was ‘loose’. And coming from the #1 quarterback in the country, that’s saying a lot. Trust me, he’s had his fair share of…groupies. But anyway, now that Zach has gotten it out of his system, he and I can move on with our lives.”

“See ya later, loser,” Sasha roughly shoved Abigail as she stepped past her, laughing again as she saw her nearly collapse in sorrow. The anguish on her face was enough to fuel Sasha’s animosity and she smiled in triumph as she slipped behind the wheel of her candy red Porsche.

Abigail listened as the engine started and waited for the car to disappear down the block before finally forcing her legs to move. Storming into the building with tears in her eyes and smudged makeup on her cheek, she hurriedly crushed over the delicate rose petals Zach had painstakingly placed around the room leading to the romantic table for two.

He stood as he saw her approaching, smiling as she quickly moved closer. “Abigail, hey. Wow you look…” he stopped himself as she stepped into the light and he saw the distress on her face. “Abigail, are you ok?”

“Is it true?”

“Is what true?”

“Is this the ‘surprise’ you were referring to? And on top of that, you told? You promised me, Zach. But you told Sasha…how could you?”

“I told Sasha? Wait, Abigail, I don’t know what she said to you but…”

“Save it, Zach! I saw it! I saw…Sasha told me everything! God!” she turned as fresh tears rolled down her eyes and Zach took a step closer. “I trusted you, Zach! I thought you were different. I thought…”

“I AM different, Abigail! Please, tell me what’s wrong. I-I don’t know what I did!”

“Just forget it…forget all of it!” she cried and rushed from the building.

“Abigail, wait!”

  1. Oh oh oh.... let me take a bat to Sasha's face, please?!
She must have serious issues, honestly, she was sleeping around on Zach while they were dating and basically used his heart as a dishrag, but only wants him for herself. Gah, what a little scank!
Poor Abigail, it sounds like what ever happened to her as child was truly horrifying, no wonder she's so frightened of people, especially men.
Zach must be so confused, I hope he can figure out what to do to help Abigail and maybe even get back at Sasha at the same time, but that's only cause I'd like to see her be the one who gets crushed!

    1. Absolutely! Have at her :D

I couldn't agree more. And the sad thing is, she didn't really care about him or wanting him back until she saw he was happy with someone else. And like the jealous cow that she is, she has set out to ruin his new relationship in any way she can.

Abigail has had it hard enough without the newly triggered Sasha on her back. And now, hearing that Sasha has uncovered her past has made things ten times worse! It's not going to be easy for her at all :(

Poor Zach. He has no idea what the heck just happened. All he knows is that Sasha said something and got Abigail pissed at him. He needs to get to the bottom of things before he loses his Abigail for good!

      Thank you for reading :)

  2. UGH when will that bitch Sasha die???? Seriously what does she think will happen, Zach will just come back to her now? She's a nasty skank, worse than an nasty skank!!! UGH!! Hate her so much.

Abby, I'm so disappointed in you. Clearly YOU know you didn't tell Zach the particulars of the 'incident hell you didn't even really tell him yet you are quick to believe Sasha!!!! A chick that has made it her life mission to torment you!!!! Yeah I'm mighty pissed off on you about that!

LOL Knox, he's a dumb ass but I do like his attitude towards she-bitch. Too bad he fucked up and let her know Zach was going to propose.

    1. That is the question. Although death would be far too merciful for someone who looks at rape as a joke, wouldn't you agree?

Abigail's not thinking clearly. She's just been told the past that she ran away from so long ago and tried to keep buried has been uprooted and the roots exposed for all to see. There is no way Sasha is keeping quiet about this and she knows it. Her only step was, unfortunately, to lash out at Zach. He promised her a "surprise" and Sasha used the same words when she exposed the secret. Abby's mind rationalized that it was Zach who'd spilled.

LOL Knox has his moments. It seems he never approved of Sasha. I guess he knows a bad egg when he smells one. But that little slip really made things worse for Abigail :(

  3. I didn't think Abby actually told Zach what happened to her. I thought all he knew was that someone hurt her and that's why she was afraid of him in the beginning. I hope that's the case because that's probably the only way that Abby will believe that he had no part in Sasha's cruel games ... once she calms down and talks to him, that is. I hope the hell Zach ran out after Abby! I feel bad for Zach. He's a good guy and hasn't done anything wrong. Now he's getting caught up in Sasha's web of lies, and he has no idea why Abby is so upset.

    1. You're right. She wasn't thinking clearly. She heard Sasha recite a few details and heard Zach's name and immediately she went to that place where he was the only one with an idea of what happened to her. It's scary for her to think that Zach betrayed her trust and it's sad to think she has no one in her life she can talk to about it. She needs to give Zach a chance to explain. Zach really does not deserve to be called out the way he was by Abby. As you said, he has no idea what is going on and she should have asked before outright accusing. But she really is emotional right now and just wanted to climb back inside that little shell of hers :( She has some explaining to do herself.

      Thank you for reading :)

  4. Sasha doesn't even deserve to die from the one of many, hopefully, incurable diseases she gets. Can we borrow Derrick and let him feed off her until she dies or he can just kill her? Miserable bitch >:(

    1. I agree! Death would be too merciful for someone like her. Whatever her fate, it should be slow, painful and never-ending. Sasha is a spiteful bitch with nothing but time on her hands to make everyone else around her as miserable as possible :(
