17: Dark Destiny

They said his estranged father was one of them also
a man who wouldn’t stop even hearing the word no
he’d wait in the dark and lurk for his victim all night
he loved the ones that ran and put up a good fight

They thrilled him, teased him, excited him to no cease
as they screamed and pleaded for their quick release
their blood quenched his thirst and their anger fueled his fire
their fear fed his ego as he satisfied his dark desire

But if we are not our fathers and our fates have not been chosen
why do you awaken at the idea it’s true and in panic lie frozen?
the smell of rotting flesh, the thought of drinking another
aren’t what you want but still secrets you uncover

What he was can’t be real at least that’s what you hope
you drown yourself in guilt and pain as you try to cope
you glare at yourself hoping to change the view
but come to realize the killer in the mirror is you

  1. The last two lines are sticking with me. Well all of it is sticking. Is this a way of saying things are about to get crazy? One of the girls is about to turn and set tripping on the rest of us?!! It's Jill! I knew it! Stake her!!

Seriously though, that's creepy! A lot to think about behind this one!

  2. LOL you'd turned on her that quick? Stake her before she bites you? HAHA

It is telling isn't it? The information they just got from Everett had a lot of meaning and the fact that he said there's more to come and more to be concerned about...

  4. He finally embraced who he is and is fine with it.

He's one of several baddies the girls will encounter and now that he knows what he is, there will be no stopping him! :)

    Thank you for reading!

  5. First off your bad guys need to not look so appealing. LOL

He looks a little remorseful but then not so much in that last shot.

I forgot to ask from yesterday's answer what happened to the car? You said it's not there anymore.

  6. Lol! Sorry about that. I like evil hotties though!

He was trying to figure out who and what he was and finally just embraced it. He is a killer; he is what his Dad was and he enjoys what he does.

The car? Yes...the car It's not there in the shots but it's still there. That's why I was laughing I didn't get rid of it per se, just moved so I could shoot around it.

    Thank you for reading!
